How We Deliver Bathymetric Surveying
Control & Datum Setup
Horizontal and vertical datums are established on shore using GPS and benchmark levelling.
Sonar Data Collection
A calibrated sonar transducer is deployed to collect continuous depth soundings along systematic transect lines.
GPS Integration
Real-time kinematic (RTK) GPS precisely positions every sonar sounding, producing a georeferenced point cloud.
Data Processing
Sonar and GPS data are merged and processed to remove noise, apply tide corrections, and generate a clean bathymetric point cloud.
Surface & Chart Production
A digital bathymetric surface model and contour chart are produced in GIS, CAD, and hydrographic formats.
